MSYO Tuition
Tuition for the 2026–2027 MSYO season is $600 per student. This covers approximately 30% of the actual cost of providing the MSYO experience. The remaining costs are supported by the Modesto Symphony Orchestra Association through donations, grants, and sponsorships. Tuition helps cover the many expenses associated with the program, including rehearsal and concert venue rentals, conducting and coaching staff, music purchases and rentals, music copying, and program administration.
Tuition Payment
Tuition payment arrangements or applications for financial assistance must be submitted by October 1, 2026.

Credit card: Payments can be made by selecting either option of payment methods
Tuition payment is due Oct. 1, 2026.
Before paying for tuition, it is recommended to fill out the MSYO Membership Agreement Form. If paying for multiple students, please contact the MSO Office at msyo@modestosymphony.org before paying.
If you wish to pay in installments, please select MSYO Payment Plan or email the MSO Office at msyo@modestosymphony.org.
Initial tuition payment is due Oct. 1, 2026.

Tuition Assistance
MSYO is committed to making the program accessible to all qualified musicians. No qualified musician will be turned away because of financial need. Tuition assistance is available through tuition scholarship grants. To apply, fill out the Tuition Assistance Application form. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. The deadline to apply for tuition assistance is October 1, 2026.
Sibling Discount
Families with multiple children enrolled in MSYO receive a 10% sibling discount. For questions about tuition or the sibling discount, please contact the MSYO office at msyo@modestosymphony.org.
