What is this year's wine list?

Picnic at the POPS! 2023 Wines:

This event’s wine was generously donated by the E. & J. Gallo Winery and all proceeds from drink sales benefit the Modesto Symphony Orchestra.

  • High Noon Sun Sips (355 ml can)

  • Gallo Family Vineyards (California, 750 ml bottle)

    • Moscato: Honeyed sweetness teams up with ripe peach and citrusy goodness to deliver a trifecta of flavors that create the perfect sweet, light-bodied wine.

  • Barefoot Cellars (California, 750 ml bottle)

    • Lemonade Fruitscato: This deliciously sweet blend is made with white wine and natural flavors and bursts with the aroma of fresh-squeezed lemons. Barefoot Lemonade Fruitscato makes every day a little sweeter!

  • Dark Horse (California, 750 ml bottle)

    • Rosé: Dry, fruit-forward Rosé that is brilliant ruby red in color, offering aromas of strawberry, pomegranate and rose petals.

    • Sauvignon Blanc: Crisp, refreshing New Zealand-style white wine with a California twist. Zests of grapefruit and Key lime brighten the palate, then follow through to accents of passionfruit and jalapeño on the finish.

  • J Vineyards (California, 750 ml bottle)

    • CA Cuvee: Lively and rich on the palate with notes of Asian pear and honeysuckle with hints of fresh mandarin peel and marzipan before a zesty finish.

    • Pinot Gris: Fruit-forward notes of ripe pear, apricot, white peach and lime blended with hints of wet river rock and honeysuckle.

  • William Hill Estate (California, 750 ml bottle)

    • California Chardonnay: William Hill Estate California Chardonnay opens with aromas of apple and pear. The rich, fruit-forward palate showcases notes of baked apples with hints of tropical fruit that lead to a balanced finish.

  • Talbott Vineyards (Kali Hart, Monterey: 750 ml bottle)

    • Pinot Noir: Brims with layers of black cherry, strawberry rhubarb with hints of toasted caramel and dried herbs. A silky mouthfeel leads to a long, luscious finish.

  • Louis M. Martini (Sonoma County, 750 ml bottle)

    • Cabernet Sauvignon: Concentrated flavors of wild berries, plum, licorice and mocha that create a full-bodied and mouth-coating texture with soft tannins and a long, graceful, finish.

  • Water and soda will also be available to purchase from the bar.

  • Prices will be updated closer to the event. Prices for alcohol range from $10 to $26. Prices and brands are subject to change.

  • Cash and credit payments will be accepted.

  • Scrip tickets must be purchased to redeem at the bar. Please be ready with your ID to check for age and receive a special wristband.

  • The bar will close at the end of intermission. You must be in line for the bar before intermission ends to redeem your scrip.
