Open Rehearsals

Our free Open Rehearsals are the perfect learning opportunity for students and community groups to experience an exclusive look behind the curtain and witness how Modesto Symphony Orchestra concerts come together. We invite your group to join us and see how our conductor and musicians work together in harmony.

Though this opportunity is FREE, please note that Open Rehearsals are not open to the public. Reservations for school and community groups are available by submitting a request below:

Open Rehearsal Schedule

All Open Rehearsals will be before select Friday concerts* of the 2019-20 Season:

*Additional dates to be confirmed.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of rehearsal and check in with your whole group with a MSO representative in the Gallo Center for the Arts lobby. Please ensure your whole group is accounted for before checking in. Individual students or members will not be checked in alone.

Since this is a rehearsal, it is not guaranteed that all works will be performed or that they will be performed in their entirety. We also request that attendees to keep noise and movement to a minimum, and refrain from taking flash photography or video during the rehearsal as it can be disruptive to the artists on stage.
