What better way to wrap up our season than with a program inspired by Modesto, its people, and our wonderful community. The first half of the program will feature Beethoven's 8th Symphony with the second half showcasing three original works from three local composers. The new pieces were commissioned to create musical expressions of Modesto’s annual ode to cars, Graffiti Festival, plus a very special collaboration with Central West Ballet.

A few of the creative forces behind "Beethoven Meets Graffiti" share what makes the upcoming concert uniquely appealing for the greater Modesto community.
Alejandro Sabre, local professor, musician, and composer is one of three composers contributing original works for our "Beethoven Meets Graffiti" concert June 1-2, and here, Alejandro shares his desires for the impact of his piece on the audience.
