About this Performance

Join David Lockington and the Modesto Symphony Orchestra as we kick off our 89th Classics Series with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3, Eroica. This symphony redefined symphonic music forever and continues to be one of the most popular symphonies of all time. The opening weekend will also feature Gabriel Martins on Dvořák’s Cello Concerto in B minor. Martins has performed internationally in venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and brings a maturity and nuanced colors well beyond his years.

*Please note the new 7:30 pm concert start time.
