Mariachi Cobre

Gallo Center for the Arts
Direct from Disney World's EPCOT Center, internationally acclaimed Mariachi Cobre will perform with the Modesto Symphony Orchestra, serenading us with music from Mexico and around the world. Mariachi Cobre's performances have mesmerized audiences from around the world. They have a way of lifting the soul, of conveying the richness and emotional power of mariachi music.

Mariachi Cobre will introduce you to one of the most highly developed folk traditions in the Western Hemisphere. Like the legendary dance bands of Cuba, Mexico's mariachi tradition has roots in the chamber orchestras of Baroque Europe, the indigenous music of the Native Americans, the rhythmic drive of West African music, and the passion of Spanish folk and flamenco music.

Mariachi Cobre play with the powerful emotions of joy and love, in the true spirit of their musical heritage - enjoy the best of this exhilarating band!
